Depending on the size leader you’re using, most classic fishing knots will fit through with no issues. However, if you find yourself having a hard time getting the hook seated properly, try using a simple Snell knot. We found not only does the Snell knot fit more easily, but it also helps keep the hook aligned with the leader improving hooksets and overall hook up consistency
The controlling factor is the diameter of the hole at the end of the rod… The bigger hooks that are found on the blue runner rigs might not wind into the rod.
The Pro Series Sabikis feature higher-quality fluorocarbon, stronger hooks, and superior fish skin compared to other options.
Great question! The orientation of the R2 outrigger clip doesn't necessarily matter, but I prefer to position the tension knob facing the boat. This makes it easier for the mate or angler to adjust the tension quickly. Just keep in mind that the clip can tighten to over 20 pounds of pressure, so be careful not to overtighten it, as it could potentially bend the rigger.
As long as the washdown pump has a capacity of 1000 GPH, it will work effectively.
Anything in the 1000 to 2000 gallon per hour range will work. A 2000 gallon per hour pump can be split with a T fitting to power two buckets. The only thing to keep in mind is that if you use a saltwater washdown with a small coil hose, you are severely limiting the volume of water that can reach the baits. The fitting on the bucket is 1 inch, so using a larger diameter hose—even half inch or three-quarter inch going to the adapter for the 1 inch hose—would be ideal. I wouldn’t recommend using any hose smaller than half inch.
